Tell us about your new collaboration!
This is the second time that I’ve been given the chance to create my dream pair glasses with BonLook. And I’m so happy with how it all turned out. I’m proud of what we came up with—I wear these glasses all the time. I’m definitely a glasses person to begin with. They’re not just fashionable, they serve a purpose, too! This new model, the Lawrence, is squarer compared to the first pair I designed. It’s like an evolved version of the Subrosa, which was round. I created the Lawrence because I wanted something that would be someone’s go-to glasses. What’s great is that they can be worn days or nights, with chic or laidback looks, and are just as stylish on men as they are on women.
Was the creative process different this time around?
Actually, the creative process wound up being pretty similar to the last time. To come up with the design, I did a little bit of research on the web, did some people-watching, and observed the people in my circle too. What I learned was that I didn’t want this frame to feel imposing. I wanted it to be something that would enhance the look of the person wearing them, no matter who that would be, and what their fashion tastes are.
Why did you choose to call them “Lawrence”?
I chose the name Lawrence because it’s a name I love and it’s easy to pronounce in both English and French. I also wanted to create something that would work well on both men and women. As far as I’m concerned, these glasses work for anyone, in the same way the name Lawrence fits so many different people.
Do you feel like your style has changed over the last few years?
Totally. It’s always evolving—and if it weren’t, that would be boring. Lately, I’m really into wearing sporty yet structured pieces—like the Lawrence! But what’s best about these glasses is that they can also be styled to be more bohemian, boyish, or even romantic. Really, they can be worn however you want to wear them.
If you could only wear three items of clothing or accessories from your closet, what would they be?
Running shoes, for sure, but choosing which pair is tricky. I guess for comfort I’d choose a tracksuit, too! Haha!
Brief thoughts
Favourite travel destination?
That always changes. The last trip I went on, to Tenerife, in Spain, was wild! And lately, I find myself craving trips to places like Barcelona, Paris, or New York—big cities with lots of action!
Songs or albums currently on loop?
“Swimming,” the new album from Mac Miller and lots of Billie Eilish.

Heron Preston and Burberry
Prefer a chat over bubbles, rosé, or a coffee?
I’d prefer to enjoy each over the course of a day, but if I had to choose one, I’d say bubbles.

Either one—all that matters is that I’m enjoying the company I’m with!
