LeBicar is a Montreal-based multidisciplinary artist known for his high-contrast, black-and-white world. His work spans canvases, murals, sculptures, and more; all marked by his bold pencil stroke and a message of optimism. With roots in both social work and creative direction, LeBicar brings a thoughtful, human approach to everything he creates, including this very collaboration.

What was the inspiration behind the collection?
The starting point was inspired by the countryside and the mid-century house where I live. I wanted to create something rooted in the ’70s but reimagined in a modern way, with an urban twist. You can feel it in the contrast between the choice of colours and the choice of materials, for example.

What does your creative process look like?
I trust my taste, and when the vision is clear, I love pushing ideas through and seeing them come to life! For eyewear, the options were endless, so I relied on my first impressions and trusted my instinct.
